Constable PET / PMT explainer · cite tgprb.in only

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) come after the written stage for TSLPRB Constable / PC-family posts. This page is a reading guide plus figures verified from the official notification on tgprb.in. PrajaPrep is not affiliated with TGPRB / TSLPRB and does not run PET venues.

Last verified: 2026-09-28 — Rc No. 189 / Rect. / Rect.2 / 2026 dated 29 July 2026 (PC Civil et al. PDF on tgprb.in). Always re-check the live notice. Open official PDF.

How to read PET in the notice

  1. 1. Qualify the written stage first

PET / PMT apply to candidates who qualify the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) under the live notice. Read selection stages in the PDF before memorising any blog table.

  2. 2. Download only from tgprb.in

Open the Constable / PC notification on www.tgprb.in. Note the Rc number and date. Prefer the board PDF over coaching flyers or WhatsApp forwards.

  3. 3. Find the PMT / PET section

Look for “Sequence of Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurements”. Note which post codes use qualifying runs vs marked runs, and any ST / Agency height relaxation districts listed in the PDF.

  4. 4. Match your post code

Civil, AR, Fire Fighter, Warder, and other codes can differ on whether the run is qualifying-only or carries marks. Always map standards to your post code in the notice.

  5. 5. Re-check before the venue day

Boards can issue corrigenda. Re-open tgprb.in before you travel.

Not in this notice

Chest measurements are not published in the Physical Measurements block of Rc 189/2026 (verified on 2026-09-28; height only for the listed post codes). Older third-party pages often show chest tables — those may not apply to this notice. If a future tgprb.in notice adds chest (or changes heights / times), the official PDF wins; re-verify before you rely on any number.

FAQ

Where do official PET numbers come from?

Only from the live TSLPRB notification PDF on tgprb.in. This page cites Rc No. 189 / Rect. / Rect.2 / 2026 dated 29 July 2026 (PC Civil et al.). If the board issues a newer notice, the newer PDF wins.

Why is chest measurement missing here?

The Physical Measurements section in Rc 189/2026 (as verified 2026-09-28) lists height standards for the listed post codes, not a chest table. Chest figures on older blogs may not apply to this notice. Check the live PDF on tgprb.in for any update.

Does PrajaPrep run PET or guarantee qualification?

No. We are an independent written-practice app. PET / PMT happen at board venues. We never guarantee selection or physical qualification.

Is PrajaPrep affiliated with TGPRB / TSLPRB?

No. Official rules always live on tgprb.in.
