భారతదేశం 23 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న 11వ ఆయుర్వేద దినోత్సవాన్ని జరుపుకుంటోంది; 2025 నుంచి స్థిర తేదీ శరదృతువు సమపాతంతో అనుసంధానం. థీమ్ “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.” 22 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026 PIB పరిశోధన నోటు ప్రకారం 19 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026 నాటికి 12,260 Ayush Ayushman Arogya Mandirs పనిచేస్తున్నాయి; National Ayush Mission లక్ష్యం 12,500. FY 2014–15 నుంచి 2025–26 వరకు కేంద్రం NAM ద్వారా రాష్ట్రాలు/కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలకు ₹6,406.99 కోట్లకు పైగా విడుదల చేసింది. 13 మార్చి 2026 నాటికి 593 ఆయుర్వేద కళాశాలలు; UG సీట్లు 45,245, PG సీట్లు 5,673.
India observes the 11th Ayurveda Day on 23 September 2026, the fixed annual date since 2025 aligned with the autumnal equinox, under the theme “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.” A PIB research note dated 22 September 2026 records that 12,260 Ayush Ayushman Arogya Mandirs were functional as on 19 September 2026, with the National Ayush Mission targeting 12,500. Between FY 2014–15 and 2025–26 the Centre released over ₹6,406.99 crore through NAM to States and UTs. As on 13 March 2026 there were 593 Ayurveda colleges with 45,245 undergraduate and 5,673 postgraduate seats.

AB PM-JAY marks eight years; 48.51 crore cards
23 సెప్టెంబర్ 2018న ప్రారంభమైన Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) 23 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న ఎనిమిదవ వార్షికోత్సవం చేసుకుంటోంది. 22 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026 PIB నోటు ప్రకారం 21 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026 నాటికి భారత జనాభాలో సుమారు 33% — 48.51 కోట్ల మందికి పైగా — Ayushman కార్డులు ఉన్నాయి. 31 ఆగస్టు 2026 నాటికి 38,000కు పైగా empanelled ప్రభుత్వ/ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రుల ద్వారా సుమారు 13.25 కోట్ల అడ్మిషన్లకు ₹2.03 లక్షల కోట్ల వరకు నిధులు; కుటుంబానికి సంవత్సరానికి ₹5 లక్షల వరకు cashless ఆసుపత్రి కవర్.
Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), launched on 23 September 2018, marks its eighth anniversary on 23 September 2026. A PIB note dated 22 September 2026 states that as of 21 September 2026 about 33% of India’s population — over 48.51 crore people — held Ayushman cards. As on 31 August 2026 the scheme had funded about 13.25 crore hospital admissions worth up to ₹2.03 lakh crore through a network of over 38,000 empanelled public and private hospitals, with annual cashless hospitalisation cover of up to ₹5 lakh per family.

22 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న పోస్టైన PIB ప్రెస్ నోటు National Single Window System (NSWS) ఐదేళ్లు పూర్తి చేసుకున్నట్లు తెలియజేస్తోంది. A PIB press note posted on 22 September 2026 marks five years of the National Single Window System (NSWS), launched on 22 September 2021 and implemented by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. As of 21 September 2026 the platform receives an annual average of over 3.06 lakh applications and processes more than 2.26 lakh approvals a year, with over 5.69 lakh business entities onboarded. NSWS provides access to over 327 Central approvals and 3,452 State approvals across 34 States and UTs; Assam (335), Karnataka (327), Tamil Nadu (223) and Manipur (190) offer the highest numbers of integrated State approvals.

The 9th India International Water Week (IIWW) 2026 runs from 22 to 26 September 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on the theme “Climate Resilient Water Management,” organised by the Ministry of Jal Shakti. A PIB release dated 20 September 2026 stated that the Vice-President of India would inaugurate the event on 22 September; the Netherlands and Germany are Partner Countries, with 14 Partner States and six Partner Central Ministries/Departments. The programme includes a four-day international exhibition (22–25 September) and the Second International WASH Conference 2026 (22–24 September) by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
