29 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న PIB ద్వారా వచ్చిన MoSPI యొక్క ప్రయోగాత్మక Index of Services Production జూలై 2026 (base 2024-25) 19 ఫార్మల్ సేవల ఉపరంగాలను కవర్ చేస్తుంది. సంవత్సరానికి అగ్రగాములు: Administrative and support services (20.9%), Retail trade (18.5%), Real estate (14.4%), Accommodation and food (12.6%), Banking (12.3%). Air transport -8.4%, Repair services -5.0%. Railways, Banking, Insurance ప్రొవిజనల్ నెలవారీ డేటాపై ఆధారపడి ఉంటాయి.
MoSPI's experimental Index of Services Production for July 2026 (base 2024-25), released via PIB on 29 September 2026, covers 19 formal-services sub-sectors. Year-on-year leaders were Administrative and support services (20.9%), Retail trade (18.5%), Real estate (14.4%), Accommodation and food (12.6%) and Banking (12.3%). Air transport fell 8.4% and Repair services 5.0%. Railways, Banking and Insurance use provisional monthly data.

CAQM NCR GRAP సవరణ; Sonipat LMV నియంత్రణల్లో
CAQM revises NCR GRAP; Sonipat joins LMV curbs
28 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న CAQM 30వ Full Commission సమావేశంలో (ఛైర్మన్ Rajesh Verma) NCR కోసం సవరించిన Graded Response Action Planను ఆమోదించింది. దశలు ఇప్పుడు 25 (I), 8 (II), 10 (III), 5 (IV) - మొత్తం 48 చర్యలు. BS-III పెట్రోల్, BS-IV-లేదా-తక్కువ డీజిల్ LMV నియంత్రణలు Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagarతో పాటు Sonipatకు విస్తరించాయి. DG-set, BS-IV-లేదా-తక్కువ బస్-ఎంట్రీ చర్యలు Stage II నుంచి Stage Iకు మారాయి.
At its 30th Full Commission meeting on 28 September 2026, CAQM chaired by Rajesh Verma approved a revised Graded Response Action Plan for the NCR. Stage counts are now 25 (I), 8 (II), 10 (III) and 5 (IV) - 48 actions total. BS-III petrol and BS-IV-or-below diesel LMV curbs extend to Sonipat besides Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar. DG-set and BS-IV-or-below bus-entry measures move from Stage II to Stage I.

29 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న కోల్కతాలో 17వ Aadhaar Day సందర్భంగా Aadhaar Samvaadలో UIDAI 600+ స్టేక్హోల్డర్ల ముందు ఐదు కొత్త చొరవలను ఆవిష్కరించింది. వాటిలో ePDS కోసం Face Authentication (DFPD, NICతో), Good Governance authentication అనుమతుల కోసం SWIK Portal 2.0, తక్కువ-వాల్యూమ్ సంస్థలకు Sub-AUA/Sub-KUA LITE, UIDAI కార్యాలయ సందర్శనలకు Token Management System, మరియు BHASHINIతో 13 భాషల్లో రీవ్యాంప్డ్ వెబ్సైట్ + Career Portal ఉన్నాయి.
On 29 September 2026 at Aadhaar Samvaad in Kolkata - marking the 17th Aadhaar Day - UIDAI unveiled five initiatives before over 600 stakeholders. They include Face Authentication for ePDS (with DFPD and NIC), SWIK Portal 2.0 for Good Governance authentication approvals, a Sub-AUA/Sub-KUA LITE framework for low-volume entities, a Token Management System for UIDAI office visits, and a revamped website with BHASHINI support in 13 languages plus a Career Portal.

29 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న న్యూఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర పర్యావరణ మంత్రి Bhupender Yadav Indian Forest and Wood Certification Scheme (IFWCS, డిసెంబర్ 2023లో ప్రారంభం) కింద మొదటి PRAMAAN సర్టిఫికెట్లను అందజేశారు. గ్రహీతలు: 33,000 హెక్టార్ల తోటలకు Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation; Odisha bamboo రైతు Govind Mohapatra (OBDA ద్వారా). IIFM Bhopal పథకాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తుంది; NABCB-అక్రెడిటెడ్ సంస్థలు National Working Plan Code 2023 ప్రకారం ఆడిట్ చేస్తాయి.
On 29 September 2026 in New Delhi, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav handed over the first PRAMAAN certificates under the Indian Forest and Wood Certification Scheme (IFWCS, launched December 2023). Recipients were Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation for 33,000 hectares of plantations and Odisha bamboo farmer Govind Mohapatra (via OBDA). IIFM Bhopal operates the scheme; NABCB-accredited bodies audit against the National Working Plan Code 2023.

Neeru Dhanda wins historic Asian Games Trap gold
29 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న ప్రధానమంత్రి షూటర్ Neeru Dhandaను అభినందించారు - ఆమె Asian Gamesలో Trap ఈవెంట్లో వ్యక్తిగత బంగారు పతకం గెలిచిన మొదటి భారతీయ మహిళ. PMO ఆమె ఖచ్చితత్వం, స్థిరత్వాన్ని ప్రశంసించింది; ఈ చారిత్రక విజయం మరిన్ని యువ క్రీడాకారులను షూటింగ్ వైపు ప్రేరేపిస్తుందని పేర్కొంది. అదే రోజు PMO India హ్యాండిల్పై కూడా సందేశం పోస్ట్ అయింది.
On 29 September 2026, the Prime Minister congratulated shooter Neeru Dhanda for becoming the first Indian woman to win an individual Gold medal in the Trap event at the Asian Games. The PMO noted her accuracy and composure, saying the historic feat would inspire more young athletes to take up shooting and aim for the highest honours. The message was also posted on the PMO India handle the same day.
