A Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship PIB release dated 27 September 2026 says Team India finished 10th at the 48th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai (22–27 September 2026), winning 6 Silver Medals and 20 Medals for Excellence—up from 13th at Lyon 2024 (4 Bronze, 12 Medals for Excellence). India’s largest-ever contingent of 70 competitors took part in 63 skills. RBI Press Release 2026-2027/1173 dated 23 September 2026 (following Press Release 2026-27/1106 of 11 September) says the Reserve Bank will conduct an Open Market Operation (OMO) sale of Government of India securities for an aggregate ₹25,000 crore on Monday, 28 September 2026. Six securities (maturities March 2029–August 2032) are on offer with no security-wise notified amount; e-Kuber bids run 9:30–10:30 am. Results are to be announced the same day; successful participants must have funds available by 12 noon on 29 September 2026.

26 సెప్టెంబర్ 2026న Nirvachan Sadanలో జరిగిన full Commission సమావేశ నిర్ణయాలపై Election Commission PIB ప్రకారం CEO అభ్యర్థనల మేరకు Special Intensive Revision (SIR) గడువులు పొడిగించబడ్డాయి: Delhiలో claims/objections దాఖలు 30 అక్టోబర్ 2026 వరకు; notices/claims & objections పరిష్కారం 30 నవంబర్ 2026 వరకు; Maharashtraలో దాఖలు 12 అక్టోబర్ 2026 వరకు; పరిష్కారం 10 నవంబర్ 2026 వరకు. Unmapped/logical discrepancies notices ఉన్నవారి పత్రాల కోసం BLOలు ఇంటికి వెళ్తారు (exceptional సందర్భాల్లోనే సాధారణంగా online hearing). Bihar, West Bengal సహా 20 States/UTsలో SIR పూర్తయిందని నోట్ చెబుతోంది.
An Election Commission PIB press note on decisions of the full Commission meeting held on 26 September 2026 at Nirvachan Sadan extends Special Intensive Revision (SIR) timelines on CEO requests: for Delhi, filing of claims and objections till 30 October 2026 and disposal of notices/claims & objections till 30 November 2026; for Maharashtra, filing till 12 October 2026 and disposal till 10 November 2026. The note also says BLOs will visit homes to collect documents for persons issued notices for being unmapped or for logical discrepancies (hearings preferably online only in exceptional cases), and that SIR has already been completed in 20 States/UTs including Bihar and West Bengal.
